for those of you who say wiccans and/or pagans are silly, wacky or whatever?
have you actually known any long time pagans? i'm not talking about the 14 yr old girls who want to make a boy love them, i mean the ones who have been pagan for 20, or 30 or more years? i agree there are some people who are a little "out there", but usually they're very young and/or very new to their path.

i don't think they would even recognize a long-time pagan / wiccan as such because they have the notion cemented in their heads that wiccans are a certain way (the silly young teens or the ones that are way out there or what's portrayed on tv). so they would probably say to themselves, "no that person's not WICCAN, they're too normal/balanced/down-to-earth"
