Manning Denver decision makes sense (indystar)
No, Colts fans, Denver doesn't play your team this year. It's important to get
that question answered at the start, now that Peyton Manning is the Denver
Broncos quarterback. Yeah, you knew it was going to seem weird, no matter
where he ended up. When sizing up the possible destinations for Manning in the
past month or so, almost everybody including myself mentioned Miami and
Arizona. But Denver did seem a suitable fit. I wrote it at the time in the
blog, that I expected John Elway to take a look, yet listed Denver down the
list. When I heard Manning had chosen the Broncos today, via Chris Mortensen's
latest scoop passed along on local radio, the initial thought was, "Well, that
